Grote Lijster is located in the Meerwijk residential area on the southern side of Uithoorn. Gaudium acquired the site in 2022 from Stichting Zideris. The existing buildings will be fully demolished to make way for a high-quality new-build complex focused on providing accommodation and care for vulnerable seniors.
Upon completion, the sustainable development will comply with stringent CRREM, BREEAM, GPR, and enhanced BENG standards. Pleijsier Bouw has been appointed as the main contractor and intends to commence (demolition) works before the summer. The building is scheduled to be delivered fully turnkey to Kloek in early 2027.
